In a newly published memoir, Between Worlds: One Woman’s Journey from Cultural Revolution to American Dream, Dr. Jianan Chen Graybill ’86 recounts her childhood during China’s Cultural Revolution, her journey to America at 15 and the path that led her to a career in medicine.

Graybill will share that story with the HWS community during a virtual program. The program will feature a short reading from Between Worlds, followed by a conversation about immigration, resilience, freedom, education and medicine.
